Welcome to MCTM's new website! The Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) is a professional organization for Maryland's teachers of mathematics.

Our 1,200 members represent all levels of mathematics educators, from preschool through college.

A local chapter of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), our goal is to support teachers in their professional endeavors that help them to become agents of change in mathematics education.

2008 Annual Mathematics Conference

The Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) will hold the 2008 Annual Mathematics Conference at Eastern Technical High School in Baltimore, MD on October 17, 2008.

This year's conference theme, MCTM: 75 Years of Inspiring Generations of Mathematics Teachers, represents the very best that Maryland mathematics has to offer. On behalf of the Program Committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to submit an online speaker proposal for the conference.ÊWe are fortunate to have so many exemplary educators who are able to provide professional development experiences to enhance the learning of mathematics.
